Avatar Special Edition - It captured the world’s imagination once, and now it’s set to do so again. Avatar, James Cameron’s latest masterpiece is heading back into theatres this month in Cameron’s attempt to tip that box office figure over the $2 billion mark, and mark the occasion a new trailer has been released!
Avatar was originally released in theatres last December to rave reviews and massive publicity. Starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang, the 3D-fest went on to become the fourth highest grossing movie of all time, and it did it in three weeks.
Of course from there it was a short leap to the top of the list, taking over $1.8 billion in it’s first theatrical run and overtaking Cameron’s other success (Titanic) as the highest grossing movie of all time.
