Kumare is a 2011 documentary film directed by Vikram Gandhi. Kumare is the result of Ghandi’s inspiration which he had while filming another documentary film about yogis and their followers.
Kumare tells the story of a man who poses as a wise Indian Guru which builds a following in Arizona, a place where many western searches for eastern wisdom.
This love Guru has concealed his real identity from everyone. He forged profound and spiritual connections with people from all socials backgrounds.
At the climax of his popularity Kumare reveals his true identity to a very involved group of disciples. For them this is the ultimate lesson.
