Restitution has its action settled in Michigan, where it appears that a series of mysterious murders have as a common thread a insurance fraud investigator who is killed and afterwards framed for the crimes.
One year later, Alex Forrester, starts to investigate the murders. Soon as he begins uncovering the shocking truth behind those tragic events he finds himself in danger.
It seams as if the city has its own secret kept with almost holiness by everyone. And still, finding the truth is more than restitution for him, it’s his revenge.
