The Campaign is a 2012 comedy directed by Jay Roach. The Campaign is based on a screenplay written by Chris Henchy and Shawn Harwell.
The film follows the election race between long-term congressman Cam Brady and Marty Huggins, director of the local Tourism Center, and who appears to be no match for the experienced politician.
The Campaign follows the battle between the two to win an election to represent their small North Carolina congressional district in the United States House of Representatives.
However, Huggins’s chances to win increase dramaticly due to it’s cutthroat campaign manager, his family`s political connections and the protection of some high profiled business men.
