The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey is a 2012 adventure fantasy film, directed by Peter Jackson based on a screenplay written by Fran Walsh from the children`s book by J Tolkien. Bilbo Baggins is swept into a quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug.
