The Runway focuses on Ernesto, a Colombian pilot whose plane has crashed in a small Irish village, County Cork.
Because he couldn’t speak English at all he befriends a 9 year old boy who will become his translator, named Paco. He turns Ernesto into a hero and a celebrity, and convinces the entire town to help rebuild his plane.
The Runway shows the decision one must take, on whom to trust. It shows how the past can influence the present.
