Thin Ice is a 2011 crime drama film. Thin Ice is directed by Jill Sprecher who wrote the script with Karen Sprecher.
Thin Ice tells the story of con-man insurance salesman Mickey, who finds out that an elderly client has an extremely valuable violin in his possession and is not aware of its worth, around $25,000.
Desperate for money, he builds a friendship with the client based on the possibility of stealing the violin for money.
Complications arise when Mickey hires a small time ex-con named Randy to steal the instrument!
