Anil Kapoor is an Indian actor and producer who mainly appears in Bollywood films. Anil Kapoor won a Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award. Anil Kapoor was born into a Punjabi family in a chawl in Tilak Nagar, Mumbai.

Anil Kapoor attended Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School Chembur. His elder brother, Boney, is a film producer while younger brother Sanjay is an actor.

In 1984, Anil Kapoor married Sunita and has two daughters and a son. His elder daughter is actress Sonam.
