Ann Mitchell is one of Britain`s leading stage and television actresses. In 2011, Ann Mitchell was cast in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. Ann Mitchell has appeared in many roles in film, theatre and television and has played a significant amount of major roles.

Ann Mitchell attended Raine`s Foundation School and went on to train at the pioneering East 15 Acting School, receiving the first-ever scholarship to the school. She has since worked in theatre, television, film, and radio, starting with Diary of a Young Man.

Ann Mitchell is a visiting lecturer at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, East 15 Acting School and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and is Master Tutor on the foundation course at WAC.

Ann Mitchell has been married twice and has two sons, one from each of her marriages, one of whom is the actor Che Walker. She currently resides in London.
