Anthony Head is an English actor and musician. Anthony Head rose to fame his roles as Rupert Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and as Uther Pendragon in Merlin.

His father was Seafield L, a documentary filmmaker and the founder of Verity Films, and Anthony mother was the actress Helen Shingler.

His older brother is actor Murray Head. Both brothers have played the part of Freddy Trumper in the musical Chess, at the Prince Edward Theatre.
