Armand Assante is an American actor. He was born in New York City and raised in Cornwall, New York. He is the son of Katherine, a music teacher and poet, and Anthony Sr, an artist.

His father was Italian American and his mother was Irish American. Armand Assante was married to Karen McArn. He lives in upstate New York and has two daughters, Anya and Alessandra.
