Cedric the Entertainer is an American actor and comedian. Cedric the Entertainer is perhaps best known as one of the four comedians featured in the Spike Lee film The Original Kings of Comedy. He was born in Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of Rosetta and Kitrell.

His younger sister, is an instructor at the University of Missouri in Columbia. After junior high school the Entertainer moved to Berkeley, Missouri. Cedric the Entertainer is a graduate of Haverhill High School.

He awards a scholarship each year to a graduating senior through his Cedric the Entertainer Charitable Foundation Inc. He worked as a State Farm insurance claims adjuster, and substitute High School teacher. He is married to Lorna Wells and they have two children, Croix and Lucky.
