Emily Blunt is an English actress. Emily Blunt first major film role came in the British drama My Summer of Love. She then starred in the box office success, The Devil Wears Prada for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe and a BAFTA.

Emily Blunt won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Seriesfor thr film Gideon`s Daughter. She is the second of four children born to Joanna, an English teacher and former actress, and barrister Oliver Blunt QC.

At the age of 16 Emily Blunt moved to Hurtwood House, a sixth form college known for its performing arts programme. There, she was discovered by an agent. Emily previously shared a home with her ex boyfriend, Canadian singer, Michael Buble whom she first met in Melbourne.
