Jonathan Jackson is an American actor. Jonathan Jackson is best known for playing Lucky Spencer, son of supercouple Luke and Laura on the American daytime drama General Hospital. He also played the protagonist, Jesse Tuck, in the 2002 film Tuck Everlasting. He was born the son of Jeanine, an office manager, and Dr. Ricky Lee, a family practitioner, country musician, and Congressional candidate in the state of Washington.
Jonathan Jackson was raised in Washington. He has two siblings. His older brother, Richard, is also an actor and the drummer in their band, Enation. His older sister, Candice, is a lawyer and a best selling author. Jonathan Jackson is also politically active. He campaigned for Mike Huckabee in 2008 and served as part of the "Hollywood A Team" for George W. Bush in his 2000 presidential campaign.
Jonathan Jackson married former General Hospital actress Lisa Vultaggio on June 21, 2002. They have a son, Caleb and a daughter, Adora. They are expecting their third child in October 2010. The family splits their time between Washington and Los Angeles.
