USA Network Moves announced that Common Law will debut in the summer even though a week prior to this announcement they set January 26 as a premiere date for these news series.
Common Law stars Michael Ealy and Warren Kole as a pair of detectives forced to attend couple counseling. The storyline was written by Cormac and Marianne Wibberley and thei set the action in the summer, and this is one of the reasons wich led to the summer release.
Sources stated that even though the series will not debut until the summer of 2012 the USA Network will do a Common Law presentation at the upcoming winter TCA Press Tour.
Of all USA original series, only White Collar and Fairly Legal premiered outside of USA’s sweet for launching new shows, summer. Royal Pains and White Collar will air their winter seasons as scheduled.
