No, don’t worry, Jamie hasn’t changed his line of work, not in real life at least. But there is a new production on the horizon for him. Jamie Foxx President is what the gossip from Hollywood are all about.
He is in talks to play in White House Down in the tiled role of the president. Other attached cast is Channing Tatum. It’s said that he is likely to take on the role of the secret service agent who tries to save the president when the White House gets caught under attack.
White House Down is a Roland Emmerich directed thriller. The script is written by James Vanderbilt. Producers are set to be Bradley Fischer, James Vanderbilt and Laeta Kalogridis from Mythology Entertainment.
The film is produced by Mythology Entertainment partners Bradley Fischer, Vanderbilt, and Laeta Kalogridis. The film is scheduled to start shooting in this summer.
However there’s a rival project with a similar premise, White House Taken, at Millennium Entertainment with Gerard Butler attached. Until any of them actually enter in production we’ll just left to imagine who will draw more audience.
Foxx is currently playing the title role in Django Unchained, the Quentin Tarantino-directed film set to be released on 25 December 2012. Here is the trailer from Django Unchained. Enjoy!
