In March Hannah Montana fans went crazy when Miley Cyrus tweeted a photo of her finger with a diamond ring on it. If until now both Hannah Montana star and Hunger Game leading man, Liam Hemsworth were evasive about an engagement, now they shout it out loud. Miley and Liam met on the set of “The Last Song” in 2009 and started dating soon after.
Close friends of the couple have told us that Liam proposed Miley on May 31 with a 3.5 Karat diamond ring from Neil Lane jeweler. The official announcement was made yesterday and was accompanied by hopeful words at a lifetime full of happiness from Miley. "I`m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam."
Even Billy Ray, Miley’s father seems to be delighted despite the fact that many think that the two are much too young to take this step. We wish them all the best and Congrats!
