Hellfest is a CBS horror film. The network wants Neil Marshall to direct Hellfest and so he is in early talks with the producers. This horror project is about a costumed killer who systematically slaughters the unsuspecting visitors who come to a theme park on Halloween night.
CBS wants to start production by summer 2012 and hopes that this will finally lead to launching a horror franchise. The storyline was scripted by William Penick and Chris Sey and the producer is Gale Anne Hurd through her Valhalla Entertaiment mark.
Neil Marshal also directed successful films such as Centurion or Doomsday and The Descent and now is currently in post production on Blackwater, an episode of HBO’s Game of Thrones.
