This production is actually based on Marilyn Monroe’s life. Uma Thurman will play a famous and ifficult movie star who flirts with the ideea of starring in the production.
We best know Uma for her performance in Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill, but what we didn’t know was that she won a Golden Globe for one of her rare stints on TV, in the HBO’s Hysterical Blindness. Her following projects include the film Eloise in Paris.
Smash also stars Debra Messing, Christian Borle, Katharine McPhee, Megan Hilty, Anjelica Huston and Jack Davenport. This musical drama will premiere on February the 6th 2012. Let’s just see what awards will it bring to Thurman.
